The Meta House Mafia will be an exclusive social club and a member organization of 5,000 unique “Mafiosi” NFTs (mafia gangsters and mobsters) that live on the Ethereum Blockchain. The MHM NFTs will serve as membership passes for the community to become part owners of our Metaverse brand and social club with exclusive utilities, benefits, and perks. The Meta House Mafia will become an NFT-based Decentralized Autonomous Organization (DAO) managed by our community via a robust governance voting system. Our DAO will single-handedly decide how, when, and where the MHM will allocate their treasury funds to begin businesses extracted from NFT sales and future brand ventures (Casino, Merchandise, Products, Etc.) The first act of the Meta House Mafia will be to create an online casino within the Metaverse. Not only will the MHM vision be to make the Digital Sin City Casino space inside the Metaverse, but we plan on extending our reach into several sectors as a community to build one of the most powerful communities and brands within the Web3 space. # Vision To create a powerful Metaverse brand, where our community members determine the project's direction. The Meta House Mafia aspires to become the next excellent Metaverse brand and hype beast of the NFT/Web3 world. But to better understand the significance of NFT/Web3 brands, it is best to know how we got here. Early NFTs projects like Larva Lab’s CryptoPunks and BAYC helped ignite a digital Web3 revolution where the creator economy and community ownership came clearly into view. These early NFTs were paradigm shifts in how people make and consume art, ultimately giving them ownership over their work and collectors more provenance (proof of ownership) and utility than we have ever seen. Much like the Supreme streetwear brand became an unstoppable merchandising force in the late 1990s, where kids would do anything to cop the newest drop, BAYC and CryptoPunks created a similar growth and zealous following. Both the Punks and BAYC not only gave NFT holders clout for owning their work, but BAYC became a social club with perks and benefits. These NFTs also gained some significant names collecting, such as professional athletes like Steph Curry, rappers like Eminem and Meek Mill, and comedians like Dave Chappelle. The paradigm shift towards Web3 has been parabolic over the last few months, making 2021 the year NFTs changed the art game forever. Not only do NFTs add scarcity and provenance within their code, but they are also a paradigm shift in how creators, collectors, and regular people consume and monetize their creations using nascent NFT technology. The Meta House Mafia, like BAYC or the Punks, also aims to become an explosive brand with exponential growth by utilizing the power of community and NFTs to build a brand that extends beyond crypto, and into the mainstream. # The Team We are a collective of like-minded individuals who are sick of waiting around to build something finally. We no longer seek permission. Instead, we found out we could create a Web3 community-owned DAO and brand that simply uses the power of people as a network to build a Metaverse brand where we can all Conquer & Earn together. We understood we could build a robust network (a community) of like-minded people that could collectively create a more powerful brand that rivals corporations. Who are we? We are early crypto adopters that have seen and worked through multiple boom and bust cycles and now clearly see that blockchains have finally come of age. Blockchains are permissionless monetary settlement layers that allow you to build businesses and brands as a community without asking for permission. The Meta House Mafia core team is one Founder, two Co-Founders, one Partner, and one digital artist. They have collectively worked in the cryptocurrency space for more than a decade. From 2017 ICOs, Decentralized Finance (DeFi) projects to NFTs, our team has deep experience in Web3, including building and implementing multi-sig wallets, Dapps, layer 2s, mining, Decentralized Autonomous Organizations (DAO), marketing, and community growth, offering our community 5 experienced builders. **The Don** is our fearless leader and crypto-native who has been in the mix since the early days of crypto. Don has some significant marketing chops and accolades notched into his belt. He whips the rest of us in shape and makes sure things are getting done, or else. He has worked on significant crypto projects, corporations and now is making sure the Metaverse is whipped into shape. **Il Padrino** is the content man and creative architect behind the ideas and literature. If you read it, I probably wrote it. I'm a crypto-native (still working full-time, shhhhh!), and I have probably been in the space too long. Still, I am passionate about building communities, making ideas come to life through action, and I have an affinity for herbal cigarettes and medicine. **Cashmere Con** is a man of refined taste and an even better eye. The Cashmere Con is our Art Director and a man who has a discerning and sophisticated look for style and taste. The Capo not only has a taste for luxury and the finesse to execute MHM's vision, but he's also got great hair, I swear. **Nima**: (With over 10 years of experience in the blockchain space, Nima brings extensive knowledge and expertise to the Metahouse Mafia community. He has led teams and innovation at Oracle, BitGo (acquired for $1B), Ankr and currently running his own Web3 startup focused on bridging the gap between Web2 and Web3. He has helped companies like CashApp, Celsius, TradeStation, Bitso (largest exchange in Mexico), FalconX and many NFT projects from the ground up taking them from zero to one. **Abraham Garcia** is a gifted and well-known Mexican visual artist and the official Meta House Mafia Artist. He has created all the designs and artwork for our NFTs and brand. # Our Story The Meta House Mafia is a mob of degenerate risk-takers, investors, gamblers, builders, doers, shakers, movers, and hustlers ready to come together with one goal in mind — carve out our piece of the Metaverse by any means necessary. MHM is a mob of 5,000 "Made" Men and Women who must join one of the 5 Families of the Meta House, the Central Seat of Power within the MHM Universe. Each family member must take a blood oath and promise to help the entire Family build a powerful community mafia brand that rules the Metaverse. When you become a Mafiosi, you become part of a crew of earners and mob members who want to tear the roof off of the old system. When you join you become part of a powerful brand that is building and taking over Metaverse and Meatspace. The 5 Families of the Meta House will take over the Metaverse, and establish a Digital Sin City. # The MHM Hierarchy & Collection **Summary:** A collection of 5,000 total Mafiosi NFTs consisting of: 5 Dons, 15 Consigliere, 50 Underbosses, 420 Caporegimes, 1,500 Soldiers, 3,010 Associates. \ **5 Dons:** The highest and most legendary PFP gives you exclusive access to a gated discord channel with the founders, unfettered access behind the scenes, and a place to provide input and ideas that you think will help. Get alpha dropped to you before the rest of the community. Dons will not be mintable, only claimable once the specific three MHM NFTs are collected and redeemed from the treasury (see [How to Claim a Don](/how-to-claim-a-don)). **15 Consigliere:** The big boss's right-hand man and, in the hierarchy, a very rare PFP. Access to dons who can propose ideas to the founders as part of a community. **50 Underbosses:** One of the Mafioso that gives orders to the Capos or captains. **420 Caporegimes:** A less common captain in the hierarchy of the mob. The Capo is the leader of a group of street soldiers. **1,500 Soldiers:** The grunts and most commonly made men in the mafia hierarchy. They get orders from the Capos and make sure things get done by their own hands, not the higher-ups. **3,010 Associates:** Ever seen the movie Goodfellas? Yeah, people who aren't 'made' into the mafia, or officially ordained as a fellow brother in the black hand, are associates that do the dirty work as a mercenary—the most common PFP. # NFT Benefits + Utility Meta House Mafia NFT holders are exclusive members of a social club that gives you ownership over the MHM Brand. Once you have our NFT, you become card-carrying community members that are given a ticket and a vote to create and build community projects/businesses to further the brand and sustain itself through various ventures in the real world and the Metaverse. **Casino & Other MHM Endeavors** The totals will be split into two: 1. 50% towards the Treasury 2. 50% towards all Meta House Mafia NFT Holders * The MHM NFT holders will be split into the following: * 5 Dons = 1%, or **0.2% per NFT** * 15 Consigliers = 2%, or **0.13% per NFT** * 50 Underbosses = 4%, or **0.08% per NFT** * 420 Caporegime = 18%, or **0.04% per NFT** * 1,500 Soldiers = 30%, or **0.02% per NFT** * 3,010 Associates = 45%, or **0.015% per NFT** Everything stays in the Family 🕴️ # How to Claim a Don To mint one of the 5 Dons, you **must be the first to acquire three MHM NFTs of the following hierarchy AND belonging to the same family:** * 1 Caporegime * 1 Soldier * 1 Associate In addition, the three NFTs must have the appropriate Flower Lapel trait. Each one of the **five families** has own unique Flower Lapel: * **The Cartel:** Pink Rose Lapel * **The Corporation:** White Flower Lapel * **La Cosa Nostra:** Red Rose Lapel * **The Syndicate:** Yellow Rose Lapel * **The Meta Gang:** Red Flower Lapel For example, to Mint The Cartel Family Don, you must acquire one Caporegime with the Pink Rose Lapel, one Soldier with the Pink Rose Lapel, and One Associate with the Pink Rose Lapel, where all three NFTs are from The Cartel Family. The first to complete obtaining these either through minting or on OpeanSea will be able to trade these 3 NFTs/PFPs for 1 Don, the highest-ranking Mafiosi who will earn the highest share of the benefits, rewards, and events in the future of the DAO community. The remaining PFPs ‘traded-in’ for a Don will go back to the Treasury to be used for marketing, future incentivization, etc. # Creative Commons What rights do you get with the Meta House Mafia PFPs? If you'd like, it can become your digital identity, and you can even use it to create anything you want. Your Mafioso is your rare, one-of-a-kind pass or ticket into the Meta House Mafia DAO and ecosystem. You can also use it as your Intellectual Property, meaning you can create with it. Do whatever you want, but evil shit (don’t be those people). Further rules will be laid out as we form our governance structure and lay out our plans more specifically. # Treasury **Genesis Funding** The MHM treasury a.k.a. our community wallet will be initially funded with 40% of all profits raised during our Genesis NFT mint, with 60% going to administration, marketing, developer, artist, team, and to hire employees. The Ethereum raised will be used to fund a legal gambling license and to set up a Web Casino, while we design and build out our Metaverse and Casino operations over the coming years. # Roadmap The Meta House Mafia comprises five different families who represent the various specialties of the MHM brand. Each Phase, or Epoch of the MHM roadmap, the Meta House Mafia will launch a new venture or project that will be selected via our DAO voting process (to be implemented more robustly as our operations grow in size).\ \ Once our DAO governance infrastructure is fully functional and our community is strong enough to handle a quorum vote, we will begin subsequent phases of building.\ \ **Phase 1**\ ***Pre-mint:*** We are creating a diverse, strong community of people who take action to help build a powerful NFT family helping us spread the word. * Team is actively building the structures and foundation of the business, including getting celebrity endorsements/influencers on board; designing future utility to bring to the MHM NFT holders; working with consultants and partners to navigate the tricky regulatory space of legal online gambling; tokenomics structuring; and building incentive structures to ensure NFT holders have utility. * Building technical infrastructure, including artwork, development of our smart contracts, multi-sig wallets, and other technical considerations that come into play. * Planning next phase post-mint in terms of what action plan we will take immediately when our treasury is funded. ***Post-Mint:*** Obtain a legal gambling license (from Curacao) and launch a Web-based Casino. Launch a Robust DAO governance structure where our community can vote on where the treasury will go, including future projects, grants, funding, etc., all of which will be left up to a community vote that must reach a quorum threshold to pass and be executed. **Post Launch Phases:** **Phase 2** Merchandising: A new business venture that the Meta House Mafia brand would like to expand is merchandising the MHM brand. Streetwear? Luxury items? Everything is on the table as we move to bring a line of merchandise that our community will have first access to and help us ideate, create, and build. * Seek out community members to bring ideas for merchandising (start a new MHM Family), whether that is an idea of a designer to get to the table or a member who creates items that can be sold on our website. **Phase 3** Real Estate Development: MHM would like to not only establish our Metaverse presence, but with our treasury, we would like to open up an exclusive social club in the real world where members can visit, attend live events, and hang out. This social club could be a hub for MHM events, a supper club, and perhaps even a place where concerts and events can be held exclusively for our community. The Meta House Mafia wants to create fun experiences in the Metaverse and Meatspace to build our Treasury. We will do this by creating unique, one-of-a-kind events to promote our brand. * Establish a new MHM Family that not only focuses on acquiring and making our presence in the Metaverse and Meatspace but who actively acquires, negotiates, and plans purchases with the treasury. * Potential events: Concerts with DJs in the Metaverse, Casino events, exclusive community members-only events **Phase 4** NFTs, Technology, and the future of Web3: As a community, we must stay on the bleeding edge of what is possible with NFTs, augmented reality, virtual reality, cloning/burns, potential derivate projects exclusive to MHM NFT holders. The Last Family of the Meta House Mafia will focus on the Technology behind blockchains, cryptocurrency, NFTs, AR, and VR in a concerted effort to bring nascent primitives that will become benchmarks of creation inside our space. The Meta House Mafia Always Wins. # Casino To establish our brand operations with the optimal survival rate, even during crypto bear markets, our community must create a business operation that further allows us to fulfill our future goals and phases. To achieve the sustainability of the MHM Metaverse brand, we’ll establish a Casino/s, merchandising, and other ventures to build our community-owned brand. During our first Phase, we will raise enough funds from our first mint to obtain a legal gambling license to set up the Meta House Mafia Casinos (Curacao). **The Meta House Mafia Casino** We will set up a premium presence in the Metaverse worlds where our DAO headquarters, the House of Meta, will exist. A virtual world where MHM members can join one of the 5 families of the House of Meta (the main house of the governing power of the Meta House Mafia). Through the first generation mint of our 5,000 NFT PFPs, we will apportion 40% of the mint to fund our treasury. By joining the family and minting 1, or many of the Meta House Mafia NFTs, each holder will have a variable share of the MHM universe brand.
